Newborn ~ Emily

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009

Miss Emily was so eager to get here to meet Mom and Dad that she arrived 6 weeks early. When she made her debut, she was 4 pounds and 12 ounces. She was the smallest little ladybug I’ve had in my arms – and I even got to feed her! Sure, she looks all meek and mild here, but when she’s hungry, watch out!

A & J, thank you for sharing a couple of hours with us (the whole crew was home and Jer even made Manwhich while I ‘played’).

Just to clarify, the bow really isn’t THAT big…

Santa Baby ~ Cambree

Friday, December 18th, 2009

And, how cute is this little Santa girl? I know, you don’t have to tell me – adorable! You want to pinch her cheeks, don’t you? I know you don’t recognize her, but see if you can see the resemblance to her newborn photos. This time I was able to get Mom and older sister in some of the pictures, too, and you can see she is going to continue to be more beautiful as the years pass!

A huge thank you to Mom for coming over and to sister for helping me with the HUGE smile that Cambree has!

This was just too sweet…

And, again, with the little bobo.

Santa Baby – Kennedy

Monday, December 14th, 2009

I’m breaking chronological order (which kills this type A, OCD girl), but it’s Christmas time, and I have two darling Santa girls to get on my blog before the holiday rolls past.

You met Kennedy about six months ago when she was a newborn. Since then, she’s had some love and has blossomed into a beautiful little baby girl. I kind of stumbled upon Kennedy at a birthday party. A friend handed her over to me as she left to take care of something else, and then said, “You know her – it’s Kennedy.” I sat for a second running the name through my mind, “Kennedy, Kennedy, Kenne – NO WAY!” Then I realized that I HAD to get her in my clutches once again. It helped that I had a new red petticoat, new mirror, and new zebra petticoat to try out.

Sure enough, she was delightful in every way all over again!

This just cracked.me.up. She looooved the baby in the mirror. So much so that she gave her some serious lovin’.

I can’t wait to see what I can cook up by the time she’s standing and turning one!
