It seems that Granbury’s hospital was pretty busy the last week of January and first week of Febrary. You saw Miss Cannon and Mr. Brayson just a bit ago, and Lincoln was the next baby from that baby boom to walk, well, be carried , through my front door for his newborn session. I think I’ve mentioned it a few times, but newborn sessions are my absolute favorite to photograph. If I had to choose just one thing to photograph (and thank goodness I don’t), it would be newborns. The newness, the sleepiness (even by mom!), and all the precious sounds warm my heart. I make sure to get my snuggle time in with each one and to cherish the sweet smell of newborn!  Mr. Lincoln was no exception. He delighted me with his three week old self!

Sweet Mr. Brayson…what a sweet little man. I love it when babies are super patient with me. Even though he was battling reflux issues and not completely comfy, he was a champ! Big Sister, you were fantastic, too! I love the small challenge (and really, it was small) of winning over the 1 to 3 year old crowd. You can literally see the defenses come down, and then they’re yours! Mom and Dad, thank you for coming over and spending some time for me to capture sweet Mr. B!
