About, oh, a month and a half ago I had the wonderful opportunity to go to a FANtastic workshop for newborn photography. I found this workshop a little over a year ago and started formulating how to get there; see, the workshop is normally offered in Nebraska. You can find more information here. In about January, I found out they were joining Beth Jansen in Oklahoma City – that saved air travel without the hubby & rental car, so I was IN! My only regret is that I didn’t get to check out their studio – everything else was amazing. If you love newborn photography, you.must.go.

For each of these shots, Tracy and Kelley set up the shot from the set to each little piggy being in place. The instruction they gave was insightful and inspiring. They took the time to teach us, to share their “secrets,” and share a wealth of information with us.

I highly encourage other photographers to attend workshops. I guess it’s the teacher in me, but I love to learn, and I believe you never ever stop learning.
