From the delightful maternity session with Jill I carried away the statement, “There are 12 pounds of baby in there.” I remember that I first politely said, “Really?” and then the reality of what Jill had said struck me, “TWELVE POUNDS OF BABY!” I carried a 6 15 and a 7 9, so conceiving of the TWELVE pounds in a tummy that was so perfect caught me off guard. And, sure enough, Luke weighed 6 lbs 4 oz (now 8 lbs 10 oz) and Grace weighed 5 lbs 5 oz (now 7 lbs 2.5 oz)!

Maternity ~ Ginn
I’ve confessed before that sometimes I’m jealous of a tummy that I photograph. I guess, technically, I’m a little envious of all of them because I ADORED being pregnant. Sure, I had some discomfort, but the feeling of a baby moving inside of me was glorious – LOVED it!! (it probably also helped to focus on the fact that I wasn’t having to change diapers or feed every few hours – wink wink) I can’t imagine the fun that Jill had as she felt her sweet baby boy and sweet baby girl tumble and move around in her tummy. I mean, TWO! = Wow!
Family ~ Durand {Granbury Family Photographer}
I would love to have a sit down consultation with every client before we meet, but let’s face it, in today’s world, that’s not possible! Fortunately email and facebook have come into our world and make the consultation as easy as a few exchanges. Even from the first few emails that Tricia and I exchanged, I knew we were going to have fun during our session. I loved how she described each of her children and even gave me some insight into her and her husband. The day we met in person, I felt like I already knew them! Then, as we tweaked ordering, pick up/delivery, and so forth I loved our continued “conversations” even as Tricia was in the deer stand. I made the silly comment, “I’m so glad to know I’m not the only wife who supports her hubby in the deer stand. You go girl! It’s a marriage builder
” and Tricia, kindly, shared that hubby lets her take the evening hunt. Wow, did I feel s-i-l-l-y assuming that all women are as sheepish as me and prefer to sit in the stand and do things like, oh, say edit pictures on the laptop? Tricia, you inspire me:kind, a fabulously beautiful mother of 3, and a hunter!
