Senior ~ Megan {Granbury Senior Photographer}

When I think of Megan, I think of sweet smiles, beautiful laughs, and forward thinking. Megan was a delight to teach in my classroom because her love for Christ was so abounding that it was truly evident as it spilled over to her love for others. Loves Jesus, friendly, smart, and beautiful – all the goods a girl needs! And, did I mention she’s going to the holy land for college? Gig ‘em Megan – WHOOP! Fightin’ Texas Aggie class of ’15!

We went to on location, and I saw this drainage thingie (I’m sure there’s a real name for it, but I don’t know it & ‘thingie’ is a one-size-fits-all term!). I said, “Hey, Megan, think you can crawl in there?” “Sure,” she said with a smile! Then, she ROCKED it!

Can I tell you how much this next picture is SO Megan? These little ladies hanging from her mirror – Nun chucks – get it? HA! She has such an awesome sense of humor!

Senior ~ Brenda {Granbury senior photographer}

Brenda is a senior at Granbury High School this year, and I had the honor of photographing Brenda for her senior pictures. This girl cracked me up because there was one “side” that she absolutely hated, and every time I tried to pose her with that side forward, she caught me. She’s such a natural beauty that there is no way any “side” is a bad one! Breathtaking…and an absolute natural in front of the camera (despite what you think, Brenda!).

Senior ~ Sheridan {Granbury Senior Photographer}

Sheridan, oh Sheridan! As Sheridan, who lives in my neighborhood and is quite a spunky, fun-loving girl, were discussing her session one night via a facebook chat, she told me she wanted something totally different than anyone else. In throwing out some questions to get to know her even better to help to plan the perfect location that was precisely her, she threw me a curve ball, “My favorite animal is a cow. Can we use some cows in my pictures?” I wish she could have seen the look on my face. I think I replied something to the effect of, “The black & white Holstein variety or something else? Like, just a cow?” Sure enough. Fortunately, God has given me lots of variety in my life and a friend I met back in college has come back into my life in recent years via StoneWater Church and facebook, has a dairy! I’m sure that Erin thought I was crazy when I first asked her if I could bring a senior out and use some of her cattle for pictures, but she was a great hostess! Thanks, Sheridan for the fun idea & Erin for the great locations!

And, just when I thought we were finished, Erin pointed out the cotton seed!
